These terms cover the Schengen-Schmengen app (shown on the Home Screen as "Schmengen") and the optional Schmengen Pro purchase. The app is made by Ilya Voloshin ("I" below).
Which terms apply
- iPhone and iPad: the app is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and these terms add to it.
- Android: these terms apply, together with the Google Play Terms of Service for anything bought or downloaded through Google Play.
Using the app
You may use the app on devices you own or control, for your own planning. Don't copy, resell or redistribute it, or try to get around Schmengen Pro.
Schmengen Pro
Schmengen Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. It unlocks calendar integration, Schengen suggestions, widgets, advanced reminders and, on iPhone and iPad, iCloud sync. It's tied to the store account you buy it with (your Apple Account, or your Google account on Google Play) and works on the platform you bought it on; a purchase on one platform doesn't unlock the other. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms and refund policies.
Estimates, not legal advice
The app calculates the Schengen 90/180-day rule from the trips you enter. Its results are estimates. Border interpretations, time zones, entry mistakes and your own circumstances, such as a national visa or residence permit, can change the outcome. The app isn't affiliated with the EU or any government. Check the official EU short-stay calculator and official sources before you travel. You're responsible for your own travel decisions.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for losses that come from relying on its results, from lost data, or from not being able to use it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
